Account and Data Deletion
ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
Effective Date: August 25, 2026 | Last Updated: August 25, 2026
You can request deletion of your Keystone Listings account and personal information at any time. These instructions also apply to information Keystone receives through connected services such as Instagram or Facebook.
1. Submit a Deletion Request
Choose either method:
- From Keystone: Sign in, open Manage account, choose Account & privacy, and select Request account deletion.
- By e-mail: Send an e-mail to privacy@keystonelistings.com from an e-mail address associated with your account. Use the subject Account deletion request. If your Keystone account uses phone sign-in and has no associated e-mail, include the phone number used to sign in and do not include your password, access token, payment-card number, or government identification in the initial message.
If you cannot access the account, e-mail privacy@keystonelistings.com and explain that you need account-recovery assistance for a deletion request.
2. Verification
We verify deletion requests before acting on them so another person cannot delete your account. We may confirm control of the associated e-mail address or phone number, ask you to sign in, or request limited information already associated with the account. We will not ask for your Keystone, Facebook, or Instagram password.
If an authorized agent submits a request for you, we may require written authorization and direct identity confirmation where permitted by law.
3. What Happens After Verification
After verifying the request, Keystone will:
- prevent new use of the account and revoke active Keystone sessions;
- disable and delete or render unusable active third-party access tokens and connected-account credentials;
- cancel unpublished scheduled social content where technically possible;
- unpublish Property Pages controlled solely by the account, subject to the transfer and legal exceptions below;
- delete or de-identify account-profile information, unpublished drafts, integration records, and other personal information that is not required for a permitted retention purpose; and
- ask whether shared listings, portfolios, or team resources should be transferred to another authorized owner when deletion would otherwise affect other users.
Deleting your Keystone account does not automatically delete content already published to Instagram, Facebook, or another third-party service. Use that provider's controls to edit or delete published content.
4. Timing and Confirmation
We respond within the period required by applicable law. After identity and ownership issues are resolved, we aim to complete the active-system deletion process within 30 days. We will send confirmation to the verified contact method when the request is complete or explain any permitted delay.
Encrypted backups may retain residual copies for up to 90 additional days before routine overwrite. Backup copies are access-restricted and used only for security and disaster recovery. Information required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, transaction, security, or other legal obligations may be retained for the period permitted or required by law.
5. Shared Workspaces, Listings, and Paid Records
Deletion will not erase another customer's independent records or remove shared resources they are authorized to retain. Before deleting an account that is the only administrator of a shared portfolio or listing, Keystone may require transfer to another authorized person or may unpublish the resource.
Transaction and invoice records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, payment disputes, and fraud prevention. Payment-card data is handled by the payment processor and is not stored by Keystone as a full card number.
6. Disconnect Without Deleting Keystone
You may disconnect a social account without deleting your Keystone account. Use the connection's Disconnect control when available or revoke Keystone in the provider's account or business-integration settings. Revocation prevents new API access after it is processed but does not remove content already published on the provider.
