About the home
The house sits on 2.4 acres just outside Lawrence — close enough that a grocery run takes no thought, far enough that the only thing overhead is the big Kansas sky. Mature trees frame the property, and several back decks, some of them covered, make it easy to spend an evening outside without planning for it.
Inside, everything runs on one level above a full basement that's partially finished, with a walk-up to the rear yard and extra storage below. The attached garage is heated. Out back, a separate oversized workshop with its own electricity has room for tools, projects, or whatever needs space. The bones are 1963; the updates are recent and careful.
